As reported in the West Briton, 28 January 1932
Billiards matches against local teams and fundraising Dances and Whist Drive fundraisers for the Devoran Cricket Club were a regular yearly feature at Devoran Village Hall throughout the 1920s and 1930s.
Music at these dances was often “by the Seville Dance Orchestra, Truro.”
Cricket and Billiards – Two more vanished Devoran societies who were based in the Devoran Village Hall / Club or used it for fundraising.
Traces of the billiards club, such as carved billiard cue holders and other memorabilia can still be seen preserved in the smaller room of Village Hall today.
